Is Black Pearl Granite Hard To Keep Clean

I was granite shopping the other day and had never heard of leathered granite and fell in love.

Is black pearl granite hard to keep clean.

I was nervous that you d see droplets of water and all the crumbs. You probably needed to seal them. When i feel ridges i know there s dirt. I have black granite floors and black laminate countertops.

One thing we noticed with our black granite is any cup that forms a ring on it from condensation and say is left out overnight from a party will leave noticeable hard water rings on your nice. I love the overall look of black floors countertops. Absolute black granite is jet black and consistent with its color and texture while black pearl granite has dark grey in the color as well as flecks of silver mica. Although it s overwhelmingly black and dark you can see lots of other flecks of colour in this beautiful mottled stone such as gold silver green and grey.

The problem is the color not the material. The only color they had was black do you find it hard to keep clean. I have to feel around with my fingertips whenever i clean. It s hard to seal it wrong but sealing needs to be done every year.

Both are very difficult to keep clean because the dirt is almost impossible to see. I have small kids too. You can effectively clean black granite countertops simply with water and mild soap. I d say honed leathered granite is actually easier to keep smudge free.

Each variety can add an interesting dynamic to a kitchen or bathroom design. Many people also love black pearl granite because of its hard wearing qualities its ability to keep clean easily and its cost effectiveness.
