An irish george iii white marble and scaliola chimneypiece attributed to pietro bossi circa 1780 the molded breakfronted rest above a freize inlaid with classical portrait medallions joined by husk draped swags the jambs headed by crossed berried branches over paneled foliate and crossed arrow pendants. The moulded shelf above an inlaid faux fluted freize centred by a rectangular tablet applied with a drapery hung urn the corresponding faux fluted jambs with urn cappings on block feet.
